What makes the Tara River so suitable for rafting is its average gradient of 4.5 meters per kilometer. The water is crystal clear and light blue in color, and what’s particularly impressive is that you can drink it while navigating the river because the water remains potable throughout the entire course of the Tara River.
Rafting isn’t just about the descent and excitement; it’s also about socializing and forming new friendships. During the descent, you’ll meet people from other rafts, from different camps, and there will be plenty of jokes and good spirits all around.
The Tara River stretches 146 kilometers long, and according to international river categorization scales, it holds a Grade 4a rating for rafting difficulty, which places it among the top-tier most attractive rivers globally, alongside Africa’s Zambezi River and America’s Colorado River.
